Shaping Your Success at World of Bluegrass 2008

IBMA’s annual World of Bluegrass events are both business conference and family reunion.  It’s the family of folks – like you – who take an active role in shaping the future and lead the growing success of bluegrass music.

You’re part of a very passionate group with a vested interest in bluegrass.  Of course you already work hard, but you also need connections, information and to know about new opportunities. The entertainment world is changing rapidly and success means you’ve got to be engaged with others to tap the right resources at the right time.

Getting In Tune

World of Bluegrass week is about building relationships and with 2,000 key music and entertainment leaders planning on attending this year’s business conference, your involvement can make a difference for both you and bluegrass music.

  • Key connections…personal contacts you need with people anxious to engage with you.
  • Promotions…opportunities to see and be seen by the people and companies that make decisions and can help foster your success.
  • Critical information…through meetings, forums and seminars that help focus on the best opportunities and what’s new.
  • You have a voice…you participate and help shape decision and the future of our music.

A Unique Value!

There aren’t many guarantees in the music business…except, if you don’t take an active role and invest in yourself, others probably won’t either.

World of Bluegrass week is just such an investment and involves more than just the registration fees – though they’re lower (by as much as 50%) than almost any other conference of this kind.

There are numerous ways to take advantage of the week including exhibit opportunities, special promotions, showcase performances, educational offerings, advertising options and simply one-on-one networking.

Where else can you find the most important event producers, radio and TV broadcasters, retailers, record labels, agents, managers, artists, songwriters, journalists, educators, association leaders, suppliers, producers and engineers, publicists, web and internet developers, historians, academic leaders and even consumers—all under one roof—for one week and with one primary focus: to work together to shape the success of our music and celebrate the year to come!

Registration packets will be mailed in late May or visit www.ibma.org for the most up to date information.
