 September 29 - October 5, 2008 Nashville, TN Official Showcases & "After Hours" One of the most important aspects of the World of Bluegrass events are naturally the performances! There are 19 acts selected to appear as "official showcase acts" during the Business Conference. Click here for info on submitting for these opportunities. The "After Hours" or private shows and hospitality funcitons also take place throughout the week and are hosted by various groups, organizations and companies. They're valuable as an informal means of presenting talent and focusing on different products and services for attendees. The "Hosts" of these after hours events select, coordinate and book the talent they want to appear directly. IBMA does not coordinate talent for after hours functions and does not comp any tickets for participants of the after hours functions. These still are ticketed events and do require conference registration to attend. Below is a list of the After Hours hosts who presented in 2007. Hosts for the 2008 events will not begin securing space with the IBMA staff until summer. Ecact room locations, times and days are all subject to availability.
